Peabody TV hires high school students from Peabody High, Bishop Fenwick, Essex Tech, and more.

Projects

 

Work study students will participate in a variety of projects over the course of their employment, both in the field and studio. Acquired skills will include directing, running camera, audio, graphics, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to create original content for Peabody TV’s Education channel and social media.

Eligibility

 

Accepted applicants will complete an orientation training to learn more about Peabody TV, become familiar with equipment, and engage with peers. This training will cover: shot composition, production terms, and camera/tripod operations, and more.

Optional training will be offered throughout the year in the following subjects: truck production, studio production, lighting, and video/image editing. Students may also request additional training in areas of interest.

Ideally, candidates will have some experience with video

Self-starter who can work independently and in a group

N

Possess good written and verbal communication skills

*All candidates must be in high school wth reliable transportation.
