Peabody Youth TV
PYTV is designed to inspire young media makers while encouraging critical thinking. The program will introduce students to writing, directing, filming, post-production, photography, and more!

Work Study
The work study program is a valuable opportunity for local high school students to gain experience and explore a potential career path in broadast television.

Internships
Interns will obtain on-the-job training in broadcast television, build a quality portfolio, and receive college credit.

Filmmaking Workshop: Documentary (High School)
Dates: 9/27-11/15, 11/29-12/20 // Cost: $300
In this class, high school students will be able to create a short film, which will include all stages of production. Students will work as a collective group to come up with a topic of their choosing. They will create scripts and storyboards, hone their skill level with our equipment in studio and in-field, edit their project to completion and overall learn about the filmmaking process with hands-on experience!
Video Production Basics I & II
Ages 18+ // Cost: $25 // Multiple dates available
In this class, participants will learn how to produce a show within our studio and how to utilize our field equipment. Students of this course will learn how to operate our switcher, soundboard, lighting board, and of course, our cameras!

Peabody TV is proud to present our Fall Podcast Workshop Series, hosted by industry veteran, Chris O’Keeffe. Each of these collaborative workshops will feature lecture, discussion, and interactive exercises.
Whether you are just considering getting into podcasting, or you are a seasoned creator looking to tighten things up, these workshops will have plenty for you. Feel free to drop in for a single session or consider running through the whole curriculum.

Workshop lead by Chris O'Keeffe
Chris has designed, launched, written and produced podcasts that have been heard by millions of listeners around the world. In 2018 he was on the development and pre-launch team for Disgraceland, which became the the #1 music podcast in the world. That same year he launched Podcation, a company that builds live podcast creation events. He has produced shows for organizations such as Amazon, Cirque du Soleil, and MIT, and is happy to share lessons with local creators. You can read more about his podcast work here.
